PROGRESS Wrestling Announces a New Tour of the United States

The wrestling British still booming. the promoter Jim Smallman announced at the Super Strong Style 16 event that PROGRESS Wrestling will tour the United States of America between August 4 and 12, 2018. On this occasion, the company will visit for the first time in its history the northwest coast of the country. This tour will include the cities of Detroit, New York, Boston, Seattle and Chicago. More details about the events will be published in the coming weeks.

This will not be the first time that PROGRESS visits American lands. In 2017 they were part of the WrestleMania Week in Orlando, Florida. In addition, in August of that same year, they had their first own events in the American continent. Specifically, Boston and New York were the venues of these pioneer shows. In 2018, PROGRESS continued its expansion and celebrated the first two Chapters (big events) outside of the United Kingdom in the framework again of the week of WrestleMania.

By the end of August, PROGRESS Wrestling is already scheduled for another tour. In Germany, by the hand of Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) has been the country chosen after the success of the joint shows held over the years. It should be remembered that in 2018 PROGRESS also visited Australia for the first time in collaboration with the ocean companies EPW (Explosive Pro Wrestling), PWA (Pro Wrestling Australia) and MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling). World champions Travis Banks and Toni Storm, British WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and Jimmy Havoc were part of those events.
