Chris Jericho Attacks Tetsuya Naito in New Year Dash

During the NJPW New Year Dash 2018 broadcast, Chris Jericho has reappeared in NJPW attacking Tetsuya Naito, the leader of The Ungovernable Of Japan. This is interpreted as the beginning of a new rivalry for Chris Jericho in NJPW, and therefore as an extension of his stay in the company for at least one show.

At the moment there is no date or official confirmation for the fight, but the next event in the New Japan calendar is The New Beginning in Sapporo, which will be held on January 27 and 28, followed by The New Beginning in Osaka, dated for February 10. Sapporo events coincide with the weekend in which WWE will hold Royal Rumble, so Jericho’s participation in both events will not be possible. That is why in case you want to participate in the Royal Rumble, your match against Naito should be postponed until the Osaka show.

There are many rumors that Chris Jericho has been able to extend his contract with NJPW for several months. There are chances that Chris Jericho can remain in the company until the G1 Climax, although it is not known under what calendar, being able to remain as a part-time fighter.
