The Japanese company, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), held on Friday, May 4, the 2nd part of Wrestling Dontaku. The event, broadcast through NJPW World and held at the Fukuoka Convention Center, featured a title match between Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi as the main event.
Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask & Ryusuke Taguchi Vs. Ren Narita, Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura
The Young Lions are launched in Dropkicks to surprise the veterans. They attack Jushin Liger together but Tiger Mask and Taguchi manage to little by little control the situation. The young people intervene to avoid stories or keys about their classmates. However, Taguchi manages to control Narita and beat him with an Ankle Lock.

BULLET CLUB (Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens) vs. Yuji Nagata & Tomoyuki Oka
Despite the direction of Nagata, Owens, and Takahashi control the start of the match. Nagata’s Suplex that then surprises Owens with a key to the arm. Oka attacks with intensity and connects good Uppercuts. Owens finally applies it connects the Package Piledriver.

Roppongi 3K (Rocky Romero, SHO & YOH) vs. Suzuki-gun (Taichi, TAKA Michinoku & Takashi Iizuka)
Suzuki-gun quickly controls everything and take their rivals out of the ring. Iizuka bites SHO and YOH in the ring. SHO answers bravely against the three, but once again the numbers are imposed. Romero and YOH save their partner taking Taichi and Iizuka out of the ring. 3K for TAKA and three counts.

Togi Makabe & Toa Henare vs. CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano)
Intense start between Henare and Ishii with a round trip of punches. Yano enters and tramples on Henare, who then hits him against the unprotected cornerback. New duel Henare – Ishii, brutal German Suplex of Ishii. Makabe saves Henare and he applies Samoan Drop. Spear de Henare and account interrupted by Yano. Running Spinebuster to Ishii and account for about three. Ishii’s Brainbuster on Henare.

CHAOS (Jay White, Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. David Finlay, Juice Robinson & Michael Elgin
Goto and Elgin begin the action. Elgin connects some elbows and soon enters White who immediately hits Finlay. YOSHI-HASHI enters to face Juice, who receives him with right hands. White makes Juice fall from the ring and hits his low area against the post. The joint attack on Juice. Jay fights with Juice and whenever he can he hits Finlay in his corner. Enter Elgin and charge against White and Goto. Elgin, Juice and Finlay come together against YOSHI. Finlay’s backbreaker and two counts. Karma on Finlay and counts of three.

After the fight, Taichi appears to attack Goto with his microphone. White tries to surprise Robinson with the Blade Runner but Juice escapes.
Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi, EVIL & SANADA) vs. Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Lance Archer, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & The Desperado)
Suzuki-gun do not let enter the Ingobernables, attacking them on the ramp. Suzuki punishes Naito’s leg with the help of a chair. In the ring, Lance applies a Chokeslam out to Hiromu. Fallaway Slam to BUSHI by Archer. They continue attacking BUSHI by doing short relays. Crossface of Suzuki, Naito spits his face and kicks him. Suzuki applies a key to Naito’s leg while his teammates continue attacking the Ingobernables. Relay for Takahashi who charges against opponents. Archer and Smith attack EVIL and SANADA, preventing them from even being in their corner. Interventions everywhere, Naito ends up applying the Destiny to Kanemaru.

Tetsuya Naito is leaving, greeting people when he is attacked by a hooded man. It’s Chris Jericho! Codebreaker for Naito in the ring! Jericho charges the Young Lions who try to stop him. Hit Naito with the bell! The Ungovernables go out to help Naito but despite his presence and that of several referees, Jericho continues to punish Tetsuya who bleeds profusely from his face.
BULLET CLUB (Cody, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Hangman Page & Marty Scurll) vs. BULLET CLUB (Kenny Omega, Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) & Kota Ibushi
Scurll goes out looking to apply a Slam to Fale but does not succeed. Even duel between Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa against the Young Bucks. Cody faces Ibushi and takes him to his corner. Ibushi’s Golden Triangle over several rivals. Fale seeks height, Marty threatens him with the umbrella and Fale looks for him. The Bucks save it by connecting Superkicks. Marty finally charges Fale, but he falls on top of him and covers him.

Kenny Omega runs after Cody backstage. Meanwhile, the rest of the BULLET CLUB stays in the ring. They leave Chase Owens and Yujiro Takahashi. They offer the Bucks, Scurll and Page to greet each other with their classic gesture. In the end, everyone does the “too sweet”.
Will Ospreay (c) vs. KUSHIDA IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship match
KUSHIDA seeks control at the beginning with keys to Osprey’s arm. The action goes to ringside, KUSHIDA surprises with a Cross Armbreaker in the air. KUSHIDA continues to punish Will’s arm when he returns to the ring. Ospreay manages to connect a kick and cut with the KUSHIDA control. Increase the pace with both looking for keys and kicks, Will applies German Suplex. KUSHIDA DDT from the apron to ringside. 450 Splash of Ospreay, KUSHIDA is taken from the ropes.
