On official Twitter account and its official Internet portal, the Ring Of Honor company announced that first two matches of the Women Of Honor tournament, which will crown the first female champion of the company, will take place in Japan.

The tournament will begin airing next week on ROH TV. However, thanks to the agreement between the Ring Of Honor itself and the company Stardom, two of the matches of the first round of the tournament will be held in Japan on February 24. The first fight will be between Jenny Rose and Kagetsu and the second match will have “The Icon Of Stardom” Mayu Iwatani facing HZK.

So far it is confirmed that the tournament of 16 competitors will have its semifinals during the week of Wrestlemania, more precisely on April 7 at the Festival Of Honor, to be held in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The date of the final match of the tournament has not yet confirmed. But some media reported that the idea is to make the final during the Supercard Of Honor event, to be held a few hours after Festival Of Honor. However, the strongest rumors point to the next big event of the company, Best In The World 2018, scheduled for June of this year.
