The Golden Lovers return to face the Bullet Club

The live broadcast of Honor Rising 2018 begins on its first day of this year. After a brief presentation of the billboard of the event before starting the first fight.

Bullet Club (Yujiro Takahashi & Bad Luck Fale) vs. Toa Henare & Katsuya Kitamura
Takahashi and Kitamura initiate the action. Katsuya surpasses Yujiro with his strength and asks to face Bad Luck Fale who accepts and enters. The action goes to ringside, where Yujiro attacks Henare while Fale throws Kitamura against the barricade. The members of the Bullet Club dominate Kitamura and unsuccessfully sought the account of three. Relay for Henare who charges with Tackles for Yujiro. Enter Fale and Kitamura this one works with Henare to punish the giant. Spear of Kitamura and account interrupted by Takahashi. Brutal Clothesline and counts very close to three on Kitamura. Bullet Club (HIKULEO, Tanga Loa & Tama Tonga) vs. Delirious, Jushin Thunder Liger & Cheeseburger
Delirious goes crazy when the bell rings collides with HIKULEO but decides to take over. Liger also does not want to face the giant, Cheeseburger tries and is cheered until he receives a brutal Chop. Thong Loa enters and dominates Liger, in addition to cleaning the opposite corner. The relays continue to control Thunder Liger and prevent him from making the tag. Jushin has Tama connect to HIKULEO and apply Shotei Palm Strike. Relay for Cheeseburger, who with his agility avoids rivals, causing them to clash with each other on some occasions. Tornado DDT for Tama Tonga and two counts. Delirious charging crazy against HIKULEO, looking to surprise with a Sunset Flip but the giant takes the strings. Liger hits his hands and Cheeseburger applies a Shotei Palm Strike so that Delirious manages to make the count.
Winners: Delirious, Jushin Thunder Liger & Cheeseburger.

The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Juice Robinson & David Finlay
Nick and Finlay start the action. The Bucks begin to dominate with joint maneuvers on both opponents. Finlay cannot answer or do the relay for a few minutes. You try to free from a Nick Headlock, apply Atomic Drop and enter Juice. Belly to Belly for both Bucks repeatedly. Load the referee to apply one, but in the end, it does not. Cannonball for the Bucks by Juice. Enter Finlay and punish Matt’s back. Despite Juice’s attempts to avoid it, Matt gets the tag. Nick enters and kicks opponents in different ways. Juice looks for the Pulp Friction but receives a Sharpshooter. Matt applies another to Finlay at the same time. Escapan, Juice applies Full Nelson Bomb. Finlay charges against the Bucks but receives a combo from Enziguri and Clothesline and another from Dropkicks. Matt mistakenly receives a Superkick from his brother that almost ends with his defeat. Superkick for Finlay. Right from Juice to both Bucks. Double Superkick for him. Spear and Running Knee for Finlay, count two. Meltzer Driver and three accounts.

KUSHIDA vs. Hiromu Takahashi vs. Flip Gordon
Flip is doing hands-off early in the match, rivals take the opportunity to kick and then go to exchange hits. KUSHIDA keeps Hiromu out of the ring and dominates Flip. Figure Four Leglock for Gordon. Hoverboard on Gordon tries transition to Back to the Future, but Takahashi ends up intervening and stacking them in the corner.

Best Friend (Baretta & Chuckie T) & Jay White vs. Ryusuke Taguchi, Jay Lethal & Dalton Castle
Baretta and Castle start the fight. Castle seeks to surprise with the Bang-A-Rang but Baretta escapes in time. Enter Taguchi and Chuck. Taguchi takes his rivals out of the corner, Lethal and Castle apply a quantity of Clotheslines to Chuckie on the corner. Jay White’s turn, which applies Chops to Taguchi’s chest. The Best Friends go on to dominate Taguchi, preventing him from doing the relay. Hip Attack and relay for Lethal. Jay Lethal punishes his three opponents. Lethal Combination for White and Figure Four Leglock later. Chuckie T saves him, Castle goes for him and applies a Suplex. DDT tornado from Baretta to Dalton. Chuckie’s Soul Food, Taguchi’s Hip Attack Springboard that goes on to fight with Switchblade. Blade Runner and three counts.

Hirooki Goto (c) vs. Beer City Bruiser for the NEVER Openweight Championship
Bruiser rolls over Goto and looks for control at the start. Goto seeks height but with a right hand is sent out of the ring. Exchange of Chops in ringside. Bruiser looks for the account in the ring, Goto escapes by placing his leg on the ropes. He spits beer on Goto’s face and returns to find the account without success. The champion responds with Clotheslines and knocks down Beer City Bruiser. Saito Suplex to Bruiser. Goto charges him, but the challenger escapes and goes on the attack again. Cannonball for Goto and Vader Bomb for the count of two. Goto struggles to apply Sleeperhold in the middle of the ring. Bruiser avoids a PK and applies Sit Out Powerbomb, but it’s not enough. Ushigoroshi to Bruiser from above. Beer City Bruiser counters but the Frog Splash fails. Lariat fulminate Goto, both lie. Three Clashes of Lariats until Goto falls.
Winner: Hirooki Goto via pinfall.

Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) with Chase Owens vs Bullet Club (Cody, Hangman Page & Marty Scurll)
Omega takes control of the fight, people ask Ibushi, but members of the Bullet Club take out Ibushi from ringside. Omega manages on his own, but Scurll starts to gain an advantage, but Ibushi interferes to save his partner. Chase Owens is the legal man, however, he is surrounded by members of the Bullet Club, who exchange quick tags to punish Chase, who desperately searches for the tag. Cody and Hangman are responsible for dispatching Ibushi and Omega with double suicide bumpers, while Scurll punishes Chase with a kick. Chase begins to defend himself, connects Cody with backbreaker and gives the tag to Ibushi, who enters with Omega to attack together with the members of the Bullet Club with a Cross Slash. Omega and Cody are the only ones standing inside the ring, they begin to exchange attacks. Omega connects with Dragon Suplex, looks to finish, but Hangman interferes in favor of Cody. Scurll catches Ibushi in the center of the ring with a Crossface Chicken wing, however, Ibushi frees himself and manages to give the tag to Chase, who is looking for the Package Piledriver. Hangman manages to counterattack and leads to victory for the Bullet Club.

After the combat begins a conflict between Cody and Kenny Omega but The Young Bucks appear to separate them. Cody is confused, he tells Hangman that he has ruined his moment again while the rest of the members of the Bullet Club withdraw from the ringside area.

Cody takes the microphone and welcomes everyone to the first night of Honor Rising. He explains to the people that there are only two sides Team Omega and Team Cody. The leader of the Bullet Club states that the Bullet Club is fine that the Bullet Club is his. In backstage Cody apologizes to Hangman for ruining his moment, but he only remains silent.
