ROH NJPW War of the Worlds 2018: Chicago Results (Day 4): Silas Young Defend TV Title Against Austin Aries

The stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Ring of Honor (ROH) will invade Michigan this weekend. On Sunday, May 13, ROH presents the fourth night of their War of the Worlds 2018 tour.

Below is the results of War of the Worlds: Chicago:

– Silas Young defeated Austin Aries by disqualification to RETAIN the ROH television world championship. Halfway through the fight, Kenny King hit Young with the champion belt. This was taken advantage of by Aries who made the count of three. When Aries celebrated the victory, the referee annulled the decision and gave the victory to Silas Young by disqualification.

– Brian Milonas & Beer City Bruiser defeated Brian Johnson & Justin Pusser (with Miss Jasmine) in the pre-show.

– Karen Q defeated Tenille Dashwood.

– Jushin Liger & Cheeseburger defeated The Dawgs (Will Ferrara & Rhett Titus) in a tag team match.

– Sumie Sakai defeated Jenny Rose to RETAIN the Women of Honor Championship.

– The Briscoes (Mark & Jay) defeated RPG 3K (SHO & YOH) on account of three to RETAIN the ROH World Tag team Championship.

Cody went into the ring to talk about the status of the ROH World Championship. Cody spoke about Best in the World and confirms that in this event Marty Scurll and himself will face Dalton Castle for the ROH World Champion in a triple threat match. Marty interrupted him and assured that he will go over Cody if necessary to become champion. Both fighters shook hands, Marty threatened to break his fingers and left the ring.

The shift for Bully Ray. The legend came to the ring to clarify their differences with Flip Gordon. Bully explained all the respect he feels for the fighter. Flip came out to thank the words and shake his hand, so that shortly after Bully kicked his crotch and called him “stupid child.” Big boos for the segment.

– Kelly Klein defeated Deonna Purrazzoto.

– SoCal Uncensored (Daniels, Kazarian & Sky) defeated by disqualification The Kingdom (Taven, O’Ryan & Marseglia) in a 6-Man tag team championship match. The championships were in possession of The Kingdom for the so-called advantage of the champions. The belt can only change hands on three counts or surrender.

– Kenny King defeated Chuckie T via pinfall.

– Shane Taylor defeated Josh Woods via pinfall.

– Bullet Club (Cody, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page & The Young Bucks) defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon (Naito, BUSHI, Takahashi, EVIL & SANADA) in the main event. Described as the best fight of the show, next to the one of the television championship. Dalton Castle was in comments narrating the action. After the victory, Cody and The Young Bucks talked, off camera, about the ALL IN full.
