The 16-time WWE champion John Cena continues with his plans for WrestleMania 34. Currently, Cena is scheduled to participate in a Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship against AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler. This fight will be in Fastlane 2018 on this coming Sunday. However, it does not appear that Cena will continue on SmackDown Live.
Several prominent media outlets such as WrestlingINC are reporting that John Cena is not scheduled to appear on any SmackDown Live show in the weeks between Fastlane and WrestleMania. This information has come out of checking the card of the remaining events for WrestleMania and the local announcements. Even so, Cena is still scheduled for the next weekly RAW events. so it is expected that his stay on SmackDown Live ends after Fastlane match.
It should be remembered that John Cena still does not have a fight announced for WrestleMania 34. At the moment it follows a history in which it is looking for to participate in the biggest event of the year for WWE, but it has fallen defeated in each attempt that it has had (Royal Rumble and finally, in Elimination Chamber 2018). For several months it has been rumored with a possible encounter against The Undertaker, but Cena commented in RAW that this match was not possible. Media such as Wrestling Observer Newsletter continue to point out that the direction is still to have a fight between Cena and The Undertaker.
At the moment John Cena will continue in RAW, at least until the last date that has confirmed, the RAW after WrestleMania in New Orleans on April 9. Even so, this information is subject to change, since we must remember that Cena was not announced for events like SummerSlam or Survivor Series last year and still participated in these shows. No further details of Cena’s continuity are known, which will continue to appear occasionally due to his other projects such as his film career. His next film, Blockers, is scheduled to premiere on April 6, days before WrestleMania.
