Donald Trump Could Help Vince McMahon's Football Project

As we know over the past few days, Vince McMahon wanted to recover the football league project with the idea of competition with NFL. In 2001, McMahon started this project, which was a big failure. The news was advanced by journalist Brad Shepherd on Saturday and the portal Deadspin announced details on Sunday night, but the novelty was from Fox Sports.

According to FOX Sports, the news leaked out by political sources, so the league was able to gain support from the United State President Donald Trump. Since becoming president, Trump has been extremely critical of the NFL. The portal itself said that in the coming days there may be more news about it.

Deadspin contacted a WWE spokesman who said: “Vince McMahon has started a separate WWE (Alpha Entertainment) company and is geared to explore investment opportunities in sports and entertainment landscapes, including professional football.”

Deadspin also assured that the official announcement of the league return will be held on January 25 next year, as reported in the first note. That day is after Monday Night Raw’s 25th anniversary special program.
