Braun Strowman Wins in the Longest Fight in WWE history

This night WWE surprised several with a record-breaking fight in the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. During this week’s program of the red brand, Braun Strowman won the longest fight in the WWE history.

Strowman wins in a gauntlet match where Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, John Cena, Finn Bálor, Elias and The Miz participated. The monster between men appeared as the last participant, eliminating The Miz to close the action after a total of one hour and 47 minutes.

The fight becomes the longest in the history of RAW surpassing the encounter of Triple H vs. Chris Benoit in a 60-minute Iron Man style fight on July 28, 2004. It is also the longest match broadcast by WWE beating 65 minutes of a February 12, 2015, matchup on SmackDown won by Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

As if this were not enough, it is also the longest fight in general in the WWE history. Before this match, the record was held by the clash of Bruno Sammartino vs. Waldo Von Erich on August 22, 1964, for the WWF heavyweight championship with a total of 81 minutes of action.
