According to the Squared Circle Sirens news portal, independent wrestler Candice LeRae has officially signed a development contract with WWE. LeRae has passed all the medical tests of WWE, and in the coming weeks will begin to train in the Performance Center.
The 32-year-old fighter has previously appeared on NXT, becoming involved in a real battle to determine a contender for the NXT women’s championship. In addition, LeRae was one of the participants of the Mae Young Classic tournament, reaching the semifinal, where she was defeated by the new addition of NXT Shayna Baszler.
LeRae has a great career in the independent scene, having started her career in 2002, the Canadian has fought throughout America. Among her most outstanding achievements is having been a tag team champion at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla along with Joey Ryan.
