Dana White Fuels Rumors About the Possible Return of Brock Lesnar to UFC

During the last weeks, there has been much speculation about the renewal of Brock Lesnar with WWE and the possibility that he will return to the UFC for one more match. Dana White, president of UFC took advantage of the celebration of Elimination Chamber to stoke the rumors by publishing a photograph on Twitter in which she appears with Brock Lesnar posing for the camera.

The photograph was taken yesterday in Los Angeles. Brock Lesnar traveled to Anaheim for the celebration of the Monday Night Raw show that will take place tonight at the Honda Center. The most shocking of the image is the shirt that Brock Lesnar wore with the UFC logo.

Brock Lesnar had closed the door to a possible return to the UFC but apparently, he had changed his mind in recent months. Despite his suspension last year there was the talk of a fight between Lesnar and Jon Jones but the latter tested positive for a steroid drug control after his fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 and the possibility of promoting the Fight was frozen.

Jon Jones is scheduled to meet with the California State Athletic Commission and if all goes well is likely to return to the Octagon in 2018. If that happens, the fight against Brock Lesnar could be raised again. However, if Brock Lesnar wants to fight again he will have to pass a test with USADA and wait 6 months before he can compete again.

Brock Lesnar’s contract with WWE ends after Wrestlemania 34 and no one knows for sure what he will decide to do with his future. The latest rumors indicate that Triple H will take over their renewal to try to stretch their contract.
