Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre become the new Raw tag team champions

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre have become the new Raw tag team champions in the Monday Night Raw episode held tonight at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The fight came in the middle of the show and the new champions took the win after applying a combination of Claymore and Zig Zag over Curtis Axel.

The bout came after Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre asked Baron Corbin for a title match behind the scenes. The acting General Manager reminded them that The Revival had that opportunity on Raw, but did not object to giving the opportunity to Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre if something happened. A few minutes later, Dash and Dawson were interviewed by Charly Caruso and were attacked from behind, causing his absence in the night’s title match.

This is the second ostentation in pairs for Ziggler, the first with the Raw Couples Championships. The first time he was crowned champion was in the time of Spirit Squad. For McIntyre, this is his second ostentation. In this way, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre close a reign of the B-Team of 48 days, in which they had only lost a non-title fight against The Revival.
