FOX calls for major change for Smackdown Live

As you probably already know, WWE officials have agreed with FOX leaders a few months back. Thus, the episodes of Smackdown Live will be broadcast live every Friday on the American channel at the end of the year 2019. Following the deal concluded between the two parties, the FOX has begun to present its plans for the blue show which should not bad change next year.

According to Wrestling Observer reports, the channel’s executives have called for Smackdown Live to become a much more sport-based, not sports-entertainment show, which is the hallmark of WWE. The goal of FOX would be to have a “full” week dedicated to the sport since all the other programs already in place. The blue show should, therefore, have a sportier aspect with for example more Bryan vs. Styles and less Rusev vs. Aiden English.
