Both Matt and Jeff Hardy are approaching the end of their careers as wrestlers, although we hope that some years remain. Therefore, it is not surprising that the youngest of the brothers spoke recently about what he will do when he arrives.
More recently, it is the elder who has done it, or at least that is the rumor that has emerged after he posted this message on Twitter which could also be taken as a thank you, not simply as a preview of what will happen.
To all that supported me in the independents & OMEGA..
To the fans of Team Xtreme..
To the Mattitude Followers..
To the OUTSPOKEN fans who brought me back in 2005..
To the people who backed me when I was REINCARNATED in pro wrestling..
To the #WOKEN Warriors..
THANK YOU. pic.twitter.com/YkEILcoZh8

Everyone has their opinion on the meaning of this message but cryptic tweets are common in Matt and sometimes it seems like he’s saying goodbye to WWE but they do not want to say anything.
The most likely thing is that Matt felt emotional at that moment and would like to thank all the people who have accompanied him in his career to the top of wrestling. It is never a bad time to do it.
As for his future, as we say his contract with WWE does not end soon, so he still has much to do in the strings. Moreover, a few days ago the fighter himself talked about what his dream match for WrestleMania 35 is, below is what Hardy said in response.
“You know what would be an excellent match? Myself, Brother Nero, and Bray Wyatt, versus The Shield. What a match-up that would be.”
