Paige Makes Her First Statement After Knowing that She will Not Return to the WWE Ring

WWE / Paige, 25, has been out of action since suffering an injury at a live Raw event at the Nassau Coliseum in late December. I was teaming with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville against Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James. Paige was kicked in the back of Banks and fell to the canvas Paige struggled to stand up before falling back to the canvas, which caused the referee to make the signal of injury “X” and stop the fight. She took out a stretcher, however, she was able to walk towards the back backstage with the help of the doctors.

As we have already told you, the WWE race in Paige’s ring has ended, according to a PWInsider report.

The report indicates that Paige was told in the Raw on Monday that she will not be able to return to the ring. It was noted that she is “made” as a fighter and that the situation is similar to that of Edge in 2011, due to a neck injury. Paige had just returned to WWE at the end of November after a 17-month absence due to a neck injury she suffered in June 2016. During her absence, she suffered two suspensions for violating the welfare policy.

We remember that Paige was one of the great favorites to win the real battle, just behind Asuka and Ronda Rousey, so her situation is an even bigger blow. We remember that with 21 years of age, Paige was the youngest Divas champion in the WWE. In addition, he also got the NXT championship on one occasion (getting to join both at once). To finish, he got a total of two Divas championships.

Paige posted this reaction on her Instagram yesterday, in the caption she wrote:

“The comeback is always stronger than the setback ❤️ @wwe”
