Something seemed possible for you even a little. It was told that “If you can dream it, you can achieve it.” But now that you have gotten older you may be guessing that theory second.
“If you want to do something, just go do it. If you believe in your talents, nothing can stop you,” the wrestling superstar told Monster. “I’ve heard ‘no’ each time I’ve started something new, and each time the naysayers were wrong.”
Monster recently talked with Jericho about pursuing your dreams and enjoying your life.
Q.You invented yourself again and again until now. What do they tell people who are trying to break into unfamiliar fields?
“Please do not pay attention to other people’s thoughts. If you concentrate on yourself and there is something you can do, moving forward is much easier. Whenever you ask “no”, there is a way to accomplish that. I am proof of living.”
“Every time I started something new, I got off on the wrong foot and had to struggle to regain my confidence. I think that it applies to new people and new rules and to most people in new circumstances. But if you know that you have the ability, keep it and do not worry about your mistake. You will always make a mistake. Please concentrate on your victory.”
Q.My boss, I admire WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon. Especially hints for becoming a strict manager with a new job?
“It took me years to do what I am now with Vince – I am thinking about us as a friend. When working with someone at the top of the Match, they are really complicated and they can not get their trust and respect overnight. You can not hurry it.”
“It will help you to put yourself in the shoes of those who were your boss for a long time. How many people worked for him in the past? He or she is looking for someone who can endure the test of time. So please try to be that person.”
Q.No, in your case you have a big chapter on how to deal with career disappointment by losing by hosting popular TV shows. Can you summarize what is away from it?
“When you learned that you did the best possible, the traces of rejection started to disappear and the rest left out of you. Then, you have to leave it”
“To help with that, I reached out to a few friends including William Shatner. He said, “If I lived in all the gigs that I could not get, I quit the showbits after a year.” As he was in his 70th year as an actor, he knew what he was talking about.”
