As you probably already know, Neville was released from his contract by WWE almost a week ago. A few days back, Vince McMahon’s company placed the former Cruiserweight champion in the Alumni category, a list of talents no longer under contract with the Stamford Federation. It was almost a year since the British waited to be released by the officials.
In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer gave the main reason for this waiting time for the high-flyers. According to the Meltzer journalist, WWE executives have frozen his contract so he can not join the NJPW once he leaves Stamford. Now free as air, Neville is expected to make an appearance tomorrow night at the show All In. A signature with the Japanese main federation would not be discarded either.
