SummerSlam will arrive in Brooklyn this Sunday once again, but WWE will leave the New York market for the big show next year.
Joe Peisich confirmed this news on the show and said that WWE will probably announce the location of SummerSlam 2019 when Raw and SmackDown pass through Toronto later this month.
Only time will tell if this is true since nothing has been made official yet but they seemed very confident about this information.
The city of Canada is one of the great favorites by the company of Vince McMahon to celebrate large events of the company.
Not in vain the company has held at the Rogers Center, formerly Skydome, two of the most remembered Wrestlemania of all time.
The first was Wrestlemania VI, which pitted Hulk Hogan against The Ultimate Warrior in an iconic match for fans of the wrestling world and it was the first time that Wrestlemania was celebrated outside the United States.
The second was the Wrestlemania X8 where two icons of the fight returned and they brought together past and present at that time, The Rock against Hulk Hogan as part of NWO.
It would not be surprising if the Rogers Center with capacity for more than 50000 people was the place chosen by the company for the celebration of the most important event of the summer in 2019.
The NXT Takeover and the RAW and Smackdown Live events could be held at the Air Canada Center with a capacity for around 20,000 people.
