WWE ex-wrestler assures that the Paige cannot compete after the last medical tests carried out
The ex-wrestler and member of the Hall of Fame of the WWE, Trish Stratus, assured in an interview in the podcast of Lilian Garcia “Chasing Glory” that Paige is retired of the wrestling, and that the decision was taken after knowing the results of the last medical tests that WWE made.
“I talked to Paige and she told me she was retired from wrestling,” Stratus said. “The medical reports that the company has made determine that she is not fit, luckily, she also told me that WWE is looking for a place for her.”
Paige suffered a severe injury in a house show that WWE held in the month of December. In a bad action, Sasha Banks landed a double flying kick in his neck that incapacitated him to continue fighting. The medical tests determined that Paige could not continue fighting because the consequences of another relapse could be very serious.
However, WWE has not confirmed that Paige is to retire. Stratus said that the possible role it could have is the one he has been playing in the last few weeks as manager of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose in “Absolution”, although it is not ruled out that she can enter as a mentor in the Performance Center.
