Since 2016, Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live do not share space in their weekly programs more than when the invasions happen before Survivor Series.

However, the possibility has arisen that the two cast will soon be combined. This was commented by Dave Meltzer in the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio in which it has been speculated that WWE may decide to join both brands if for some reason FOX asks for it within the agreement they are negotiating :

“I can see that as a great possibility. I do not know the nature of the contract. My instinct tells me that they have to do what they can to get the agreement. In the worst case, it will be changed to Fox Sports 1 and I think they will make big ratings there. “

Nothing else is said, but if that happens we could think that there will continue to be two weekly programs, but with different fighters and fighters each. Actually, everything is speculation.

Regarding the agreement with Fox, there has also been talk that the blue brand could become the most important of the company to the detriment of the red, which since the beginning in 1997 is the WWE flag.
