The Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided in its latest edition, an update on the situation of Paul Heyman with WWE now that Brock Lesnar is training for his return to the UFC. Apparently, the plans would be to keep the agent as part of the company’s programming, although it is not known what their function would be.
The medium indicates that in recent months there was the talk of putting it at the service of Ronda Rousey. The origin of these conversations arose before the imminent departure of Lesnar, and his return to the octagon.
However, this is unlikely to happen today, considering that the Raw women’s champion would have to become a heel and this would not fit the current narrative of a rivalry between her and Stephanie McMahon.
Last February, the portal reported that the chances of making Rousey a “Paul Heyman Girl” depended on his ability to bond with fans. It was also reported that the expeller hoped to have the representative by her side.
However, within the company, the idea was discarded due to the beginning of the rivalry with the Raw commissioner. Now that it has restarted, the possibilities are reduced again and Heyman is no superstar to represent.
On the other hand, rumors indicate that within the company there is confidence in the return of Lesnar after his time at UFC. The doors remained open and it seems that the Brock would be more than happy with his return. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman would be waiting for a role within the company.
