Brock Lesnar is an eight-time WWE World Champion and two-time WWE Heavyweight Champion. Brock Edward Lesnar is an established amateur wrestler who won the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship and was runner-up in 1999, losing in the final to the 1999 World Freestyle Championship and future New England Patriots offensive lineman Stephen Neal. Brock Lesnar joined WWE as a force and never gave up from day one.

Brock Lesnar’s story is just one example of why Brock Lesnar is such a one-of-a-kind WWE Superstar and perhaps why WWE holds him in such high esteem. Brock Lesnar is an athletic prodigy who left WWE in 2004 to spend more time with his family, tried out for the NFL and then became UFC Heavyweight Champion in his fourth fight as a pro. Known as “The Incarnation of the Beast,” Brock Lesnar became the youngest heavyweight champion in WWE history and one of the toughest wrestlers in the past 20 years (WWE). At SummerSlam, Brock Edward Lesnar became the youngest world champion in WWE history at 25 by defeating The Rock.

After many successful defences against Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and John Cena, Brock Edward Lesnar lost to Eddie Guerrero for his third world title at No Way Out. In June 2002, Brock Edward Lesnar won the Lord of the Rings Championship. In 2002 and won the championship—a chance at the undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Brock Edward Lesnar entered the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Royal Rumble but lost to the Wyatts.

After defeating The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar challenged John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Lesnar defeated John Cena to win the WWE Championship; during the match, he delivered sixteen suplexes (most of which were German suplexes) and two F-5s to Cena, which barely managed the attack.  Lesnar was scheduled to defend the WWE Championship on Raw in a fatal four-person match at SummerSlam against Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. Lesnar then rekindled his feud with Roman Reigns. They won the Elimination Chamber match to become the number one contender for the WWE Championship at the WWE flagship event WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar would rather be on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, with his wife Rena and four children than in a stadium packed with 100,000 screaming fans. Like it wasn’t a WWE gimmick or the character he wore before beating other heavyweights in the UFC. At one point, after seeing Brock Lesnar fight the Beast, his father said, “I’m telling you, this championship game is probably going to be harder for his mother and me. Lesnar, 44 years, did not appear on the WWE mat until last August at SummerSlam when he faced reigning WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to close the show.
