UFC 267 is an event that promises to provide fans with a lot when it takes place on Saturday 30th October, and whilst it may not be as shocking or freighting as Halloween would be that day, enthusiasts will still feel as though they are able to get a number of treats rather than tricks on the night.

Making a return to Fight Island on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, there are a number of exceptional fights set to take place on the fight card, but none will be considered as big as the contest for the light heavyweight title between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira; a fight many have been expecting for a while.

When taking a look at the betting odds of this encounter, it is clear that Blachowicz is the favourite as he is priced 1/3 to win the UFC 267 fight on Betway Sportsbook, whilst Teixeira does not appear to be given much of a chance as he is priced at 23/10.

Additional fights on the card include the Magomed Ankalaev bout with Volkan Oezdemir, as well as the meeting between Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen. Furthermore, Islam Makhachev vs Dan Hooker, Alexander Volkov vs Murci Tybura, and Li Jingliang vs Khamzat Chimaev are all available, as well.

There is a reason Blachowicz has to be considered the favourite for this UFC light heavyweight title contest, though, as the Polish fighter has been one of the biggest MMA competitors recently and has proven his worth within the Octagon.

Having started his career in Poland, his record stands at an overall 28-8-0 and has managed to record some impressive streaks, including a six-fight winning streak. Furthermore, one of Blachowicz’s biggest accomplishments to date was to end Israel Adesanya’s unbeaten streak at the time and hand him his first loss when he was at 20-0-0.

Additionally, the Polish fighter also managed to take out Reyes in a convincing fashion when he stopped the up-and-coming prospect short in their fight back in September of last year.

Victories over Ronaldo Souza and Luke Rockhold are also something that he has managed to achieve, whilst he has shown he can be rather versatile when it comes down to winning, as he has managed to end contests in a variety of different ways, including by KO and by Decision.

Teixeira does not have a bad record himself, though, as his overall stands at 32-7-0 and has similar measurements to Blachowicz, however being three years older than his opponent at 41, many may feel that age could play a role in determining the outcome of this fight. Nonetheless, expect the Brazilian fighter to give it everything he possibly can on Fight Island.
