We all like a bit of job security, especially after what has taken place over the last 18 months to two years.

Some of us can get incredibly comfortable when we are employed and enjoy what we do on a daily basis, whilst others may sit down, stare at a computer screen and daydream about what they can try and do to leave their current job (not this guy, I might add!).

It is, though, you would imagine, rather hard to know whether you still have a job. Surely a quick glance of a bank account to check if you’re being paid or not is a clear sign of whether you are in employment, no?

Well, it would seem Ronda Rousey does not have a clue about her WWE status at the moment.

Known as ‘The Baddest Woman On The Planet’, Rousey has not actually appeared on WWE TV for over two years, as her last appearance was at WrestleMania 35 when she dropped the RAW Women’s Title to Becky Lynch, who is ‘The Man’.

Of course, the former UFC star has since become a mother and given birth to her child, but she does manage to juggle being a parent with hosting a live stream occasionally.

Whilst doing so on Facebook as part of a gaming stream – perhaps spending time online at Casino Quatro, she was asked about her WWE status and it would seem she has no idea about whether she still has a contract with the wrestling promotion.

“[Person in chatroom] is asking if I’m still under contract with WWE. I technically – I don’t think I am. But who knows? That’s a question for the lawyers,” Rousey said, as heard via Post Wrestling.

Additionally, she was also asked if she had been in contact with Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque about her status and whether she would be making a return, but Rousey admitted that she had hot spoken to him since he had a cardiac event in September but she does remain in contact with Stephanie McMahon.

“I actually keep in touch with Steph [McMahon] because she’s sweet and we send each other baby pictures. I haven’t talked to Triple H since before he had his — he had like a heart surgery or something. Hope he’s doing all right.”

It should be noted that her original contract with the WWE had expired on April 10, 2021, although there is no word on whether she has signed an extension.

The 34-year-old had a one-year run in WWE from January 2018 until April 2019 and made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, before capturing the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam and going on to hold the belt for 231 days.
