i would like to thank @IMPACTWRESTLING for the last 7 years. They gave me a platform to hone my craft, make mistakes, learn from them and grow as a performer. They stuck w/ me through difficult times and provided the opportunity to wrestle for a living. https://t.co/6qo9QCwjCG

– Trevor Lee becomes a free agent. Lee announced tonight that his contract with Impact Wrestling has expired, so he is now a free agent. Lee, 25 years old, ends his stage in the company, which began in 2015. In these years, he has won the X-Division Championship three times and has enjoyed a reign as champion in pairs with Brian Myers.
Today I am officially a Free Agent.
I want to thank @IMPACTWRESTLING for all the friends I have made and knowledge I have learned. #ZNA— Trevor Lee (@TLee910) January 1, 2019
In mid-November, journalist Mike Johnson, of PWInsider, announced that Lee’s contract with Impact would come to an end on December 31, 2018. However, he added that the wrestler had notified the board of his desire to leave the promotion, so the Las Vegas recording session would be his last commitment. Lee himself was responsible for discharging the information, but, finally, his departure has been confirmed.
It should be remembered that WWE would be interested in getting the services of Lee, whom they plan to include in the NXT cast. It is believed that the Impact ex-wrestler will be part of the recruitment batch for the Performance Center in January. Even so, his name has been confirmed for the event that PWG will celebrate on the 18th of this month at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California, where he will face Jeff Cobb for the PWG World Championship.
As DJZ also announced that his contract with Impact Wrestling would end at midnight, so the company already has two confirmed casualties in the first hours of 2019.
