Impact Wrestling Announces Partnership with RISE Wrestling

Impact Wrestling announced on Monday, February 26, 2018, that they have officially teamed up with RISE Wrestling a women’s pro-wrestling company. This agreement will serve for the joint performance shows counting on talent from the companies as well as for other projects. This union also includes fighters from International Wrestling Cartel associated with the alliance.

For now, it has been confirmed that the wrestlers will complete a two-day stay for May 11 and 12 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The name of these events will be: “RISE- Lights, Camera, ACTION: The Art of TV”. To this end, it has been divided into two days: in the first, a seminar will be held while in the second there will be television taping.

On the 11th the first seminar of RISE will be held, where they will focus on developing wrestlers in specific areas in order to carry out their work in a television environment. For this, several topics will be discussed throughout the day counting the help with various Impact Wrestling experts.

These figures will also be responsible for evaluating the various fighters who participate in it. The Impact authorities that will attend will be the following: the producer and writer Jimmy Jacobs, the creative director Sonjay Dutt, the Knockouts producer Gail Kim and the executive vice president Scott D’Amore.

On May 12th, the television taping of several episodes of RISE-ASCENT the new weekly series that will start airing at the end of May will be broadcast exclusively on the official platform of the company, RiseAscent.com.

Several talents from the previous day’s seminars will be chosen to join the RISE and IWC fighters in these recordings such as Delilah Doom (Phoenix of RISE champion), Shotzi Blackheart, Britt Baker, Dust, Mercedes Martinez and more fighters to announce.

Additionally, the producers of Impact will choose one of the women who appear in RISE-ASCENT to participate in the upcoming television recordings of Impact Wrestling, thus joining the company and the Knockout division. Tickets for the shows will soon be on sale.
