LAX will defend their Impact tag team titles against The Lucha Bros in Homecoming
During the IMPACT Wrestling transmissions held today, it was confirmed that LAX will put their tag team championships against The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr and Fenix) in the Homecoming event.
After The Lucha Bros defeated Rich Swann and Willie Mack in a tag team match, LAX made its presence at the venue to make clear their desire to “give the opportunity to their family.” Thus enabling the team consisting of Pentagon Jr and Fenix a match for the Impact tag team Championships. Subsequently, Konan complained to LAX in backstage because he had not allowed them to challenge The Lucha Bros.
Impact Homecoming will be next January 6, 2019 at The Asylum, the venue where the Impact Wrestling transmissions were previously made in Nashville, Tennessee. So far three other matches have been confirmed in addition to the one previously mentioned: a match for the Impact world championship between Johnny Impact and Brian Cage, a clash between Tessa Blanchard and Taya Valkyrie for the company’s Knockouts championship, and an Ultimate X fight between Jake Crist, Ethan Page, Rich Swann and Trey Miguel for the X-division title.
