Chris Jericho Returns to NJPW and Attacks Kenny Omega

The former WWE World champion Chris Jericho recently appeared in the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) World Tag League final, to compete against his future rival Kenny Omega. Jericho showed the attitude of a pure heel and destroyed everything put on his way.

Omega and teammate, Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeated RPG 3K formed by Rocky Romero, SHO and YO. A few minutes after the battle ended, Jericho appeared to attack Omega from behind. Jericho broke Omega’s head with the US IWGP champion belt.

The Canadians who are not satisfied with this and send a message saying “I’ll see you at the Tokyo Dome.” with the star “Code Breaker” to the champion.

In addition to his bloody attack against Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho utilized his figure to attack NJPW commentator in English, former ECW “Cyrus” Don Callis’. The commentator rose to the ring to stop Jericho, but Jericho pulled him and gave another code breaker. Carlis was knocked out and the doctors pulled him and caught. Don Carlis has decided to be part of a new executive committee for impact wrestling this week. This segment has served to fire him from the NJPW and removed him from the television inside kayfabe.

This segment is the first appearance of Chris Jericho in Japan since 1998. Forge vocalist plays against Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4 next year. In spite of several portal reports, Chris Jericho ‘s arrival at NJPW occasionally happened and did not care about WWE at all. Jericho himself explained this week that owner Vince McMahon of WWE made progress towards his appearance at Wrestle Kingdom this week.
