Cody Rhodes injured and removed from Global Wars

Cody Rhodes announced via Twitter that his injury was more serious than he thought. His planned fight during the last show of Global Wars where he had to defend his IWGP United States title against Beretta finally canceled.

Cody declares that he will still be in Toronto for the show, but will only participate in the signing session. He will know more about the severity of his injury later in the week when he gets an MRI.

Sadly folks I will not be able to wrestle tomorrow in Toronto. I will still be at the pre-show meet/greet to say hello to everybody

ROH & I will find a suitable replacement for the match. I’m extremely sorry. I’ll be able to confirm the extent of the issue after an MRI this week
