NJPW announces its return to the United Kingdom with Revolution Pro Wrestling with a new joint tour
New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) has announced a new joint tour with Revolution Pro-Wrestling in the United Kingdom, entitled Strong Style Evolved United Kingdom 2018. For these shows, New Japan will have the British talents to offer a new event in Europe.
Revolution Pro-Wrestling has confirmed for the moment the two dates and cities in which the shows will take place. The first of the two shows will be on June 30 from the Ice Arena in Milton Keynes, while the second will be on July 1 from the Altrincham Arena in Manchester.
At the moment tickets have not gone on sale, but the pre-sale will start this Thursday for the Milton Keynes show and on Friday for the Manchester show. It is expected that this event will end up being broadcast on New Japan World, the official platform of the company. Neither have participants or meetings been announced for the tour.
In this way, New Japan Pro-Wrestling consolidates its relationship in the United Kingdom with Revolution Pro Wrestling. In recent years, NJPW has been collaborating with several fighters such as Tomohiro Ishii, Katsuyori Shibata, Yuji Nagata, Tetsuya Naito, Minoru Suzuki, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada.
In addition, together with the Ring of Honor, they have held several events there, participating one month before in Honor United. For those shows, ROH will feature NJPW talent for a three-day tour (May 24, 26 and 27).
