Will Ospreay becomes the new NEVER Openweight Champion at Wrestle Kingdom 13
Will Ospreay has emerged victorious from the first match of Wrestle Kingdom 13 to become the new NEVER Openweight champion by defeating the former champion, Kota Ibushi. The match has been the start of the great event that is being held right now from the Tokyo Dome of Japan. The combat has lasted more than 20 minutes.
The match has been very disputed between both, demonstrating their fighting style and talent. There has not been a clear dominator except in a few moments and many alternatives during the fight. Both have given flashes of their quality in the ring in which they have demonstrated their ability to make great matches, defending themselves very well from the attacks of their rival.
The combat has demonstrated the versatility of the two fighters, as well as their air capacity. In the final moments, both fighters were trying to dominate each other trying to apply their finishers. Ibushi tried to apply his knee several times without success, and Ospreay equal with his. However, the Englishman struck a big blow with his elbow on the head of Japan, which left him in poor condition and then apply the Storm Breaker and get the victory.
The bad news is that Kota Ibushi, after the match, had to leave on a stretcher in the sand. Ospreay gets a new title in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
