NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 breaks last year’s attendance figure
It seems that the Japanese company New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) continues to reap success. The company reported that 38,162 fans were present at the recent Wrestle Kingdom 13 event, surpassing last year’s amount, where they obtained the figure of 34,995 fans present at the venue.
These numbers, as reported by specialized journalist Dave Meltzer for F4WOnline, would mean the largest crowd of fans attending an NJPW show in 16 years. It was also noted that the Wrestle Kingdom 14 event will be held next year at Tokyo Dome in Japan, and will last two consecutive days, January 4 and 5 respectively.
It should be remembered that last Friday was the special event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13, where the best wrestlers of the entire company faced as usual in the Tokyo Dome of Japan. The card had in its repertoire combats like Chris Jericho vs. Tetsuya Naito and Kenny Omega vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, among others.
