Jay Lethal is the new Ring of Honor world champion after winning it in the Fairfax Excellence taping. The tapings of the show for television left us this great surprise.
Jay Lethal, Matt Taven, and Cody appeared during the Tapings of Fairfax Excellence to request an opportunity for the Ring of Honor World Championship. The match was held and Dalton Castle put the title into play but failed to retain it. To the surprise of the public present and Internet fans, Jay Lethal was proclaimed new Ring of Honor World Champion.
