ROH Honor United: Doncaster Results: Silas Young retains TV title
The American company Ring Of Honor (ROH) celebrated a new day of its tour of the United Kingdom. On this occasion, ROH presented the event in Doncaster, England, where the television champion defended his title against Doug Williams and the first women’s champion of the company Sumi Sakai did the same against Chardonnay. The evening was broadcast through the official platform of ROH, Honor Club.
Below the full results:
Toru Yano & Kenny King def. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian. Tenille Dashwood as special referee in the match that ended when Yano and King applied low blows to their opponents against an inattentive Dashwood, followed by a double roll up and counting for the victory of the improvised team.
Silas Young def. Doug Williams to retain the ROH TV Championship.
After a series of failed counts, the champion used the same strategy of the previous match with a low blow using the referee himself as a distraction, avoiding the final move of Williams and getting his misery to get the victory and defend the title.
Shane Taylor, Punishment Martinez & Bully Ray def. Dalton Castle & The Boys
Bully made a promo and attacked Castle while his teammates took care of The Boys. The combat develops mainly with Castle out of action while his companions are dominated. The ROH champion returned briefly but ended up engaged in a duel with Ray that took them offstage while Martinez and Taylor settled The Boys for the win.
Jay Lethal def. Matt Taven.
After an even encounter, Lethal manages to revert a roll up and apply his lethal injection with an elbow drop from the third string to win the match.
Sumi Sakai def. Chardonnay to retain the Women Of Honor Championship.
After a series of counts, Sakai managed to revert a butterfly suplex and apply the smash mouse to retain the title.
Cody def. Scorpio Sky.
At the end of the match, Frankie Kazarian avoided the intervention of Brandy Rhodes, although this was not enough and after escaping from a count Cody managed to apply the cross Rhodes and win the fight.
Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Hangman Page.
“The Ace” got the victory thanks to a roll up with bridge.
The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) def. The Briscoes (Matt & Jay), EVIL & SANADA and The Kingdom (Marseglia & O’Ryan)
