In recent weeks he has been relating to WWE with Impact Wrestling for different reasons, but none like the ones that concern us in this case. So far it has been said that the first company has an interest in signing a wrestler. Or that this could soon have Chris Jericho.
But PWInsider reports that both companies have met recently. Ed Nordholm and Scott D’Amore, executives of the former TNA had a meeting with executives of the company McMahon at the headquarters of the WWE in Stamford, Connecticut. The Impact officials refused to comment on anything when asked.
The medium indicates that the meeting had as objective the discussion of the future commercial relations between both companies. It could be thought that it had something to do with the Impact library being sold to WWE as was rumored a while ago but it was not.
Already in the past, WWE reached an agreement with Impact to be able to use Broken Universe material within the WWE programming. That is to say that the doors are open for another type of collaboration because finally, both companies have benefited from each other indirectly with the talent that goes from one to the other.
In fact, it is in WWE’s best interest if Impact stays as it is for ROH to grow or for NJPW to fully enter the United States.
And speaking of names that can go from one company to another, recently a wrestler who was a few years ago in WWE claimed to want to sign with Impact Wrestling.
