After being the victim of an attack that left him out of action, superstar Aleister Black made his comeback this week to WWE. The former NXT champion reappeared during the most recent edition of the NXT program, interrupting a meeting of Nikki Cross to demand information about his attacker.
Cross faced in the star fight Bianca Belair with whom she has remained in the rivalry. During the final moments, the lights were turned off and upon returning Black was in the ring sitting in front of Cross. The former champion just asked Cross to approach, before which he paid attention and addressed a few words to his ear, causing Black’s anger to close the show.
This intervention of Black happens after in recent weeks Cross presumed to know about the attack on Black, which within the fiction was injured by a superstar yet unknown, which prevented him from being part of the star fight of the TakeOver event: Brooklyn 4. Cross in recent weeks had pointed to fighters like Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, and Kassius Ohno to “know what they did”.
Black reappears on television after weeks away. In reality, Black has remained out of action due to a groin injury, although for now with his return it seems he will remain a recurring character.
