NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon recently interviewed by Byron Saxton on WWE.com. Among others, Moon talked about his feelings when he won the title and her current goal.

On Her reaction to winning the women’s championship in NXT TakeOver: War Games: “I’ve been very enthusiastic since I won the championship, I worked very hard to get it, and now I feel that the sky is the limit, I remember that they interviewed me quickly, just at the moment I had just won the championship. It was empty, I left my belt and my clothes and I kept looking at them, I said to myself, “I finally did it .” Finally, I justified every decision I made during my career, I just walked away from that madness for a moment and lived a moment of happiness”.

On what he thought when Asuka handed him the title: “Asuka and I entered the Performance Center on the same day, and although our paths have been different, they always seem to intertwine, we used to travel together and we encouraged each other to be better in the ring.” It was incredible that she showed me so much respect by handing me the Women’s Championship of NXT and celebrating our love for wrestling together, in the middle of the ring.”

On her current goal as a champion: “My goal now is to become the longest – running champion in NXT history, I could not break Asuka’s unbeaten streak, but I can break her record as the female champion with the longest reign of NXT. solidify my place in WWE history.”
