The Reason Why Apollo Crews Will Appear in An Independent Company
As we reported last week, Powerbomb TV revealed that WWE superstar Apollo Crews will appear at the Road for Glory event of the British company Preston City Wrestling (PCW) on February 10th. This appearance will mean the return of the fighter to the company where he debuted and began to show the world. This news sparked the rumors of a dismissal of Crews, but at dawn, there has been news about this appearance.
Steve Fludder, promoter of PCW, said in an interview that he has an exclusive contract with the Blackpool pavilion where the event will be held and what WWE wants to use in the future. By allowing Apollo to return to the company where he was one of its most important stars, WWE makes sure they can use the arena for their future events.
The McMahon company’s plan is to use this pavilion again for future events. Recall that in this place was held the tournament of the UK Championship of the WWE last February. WWE has allowed in the last months that the fighters of the United Kingdom can participate in independent companies of their country, with examples like Tyler Bate or Pete Dunne.
