WWE Hall of Famer Edge recently interviewed by colleagues of Sports Illustrated and advertised the next appearance of the series “Vikings”. “The Rated-R Superstar” and talked about various topics. below are the highlights…
On Vince McMahon’s work ethic: “I still have not found a director as hard as Vince McMahon. There are not many with their work ethic, and I think what they do is make many of the fighters grow, especially those who reach the top. If there is something that is not in you, Vince will teach it to you. Your goal is to press, not praise, so you can get the most out of your potential. It went well for me”.
On his relationship with Vince McMahon: ” I’m still in touch with Vince McMahon, we still send messages and we call each other, and I do not send my complaints. When I got double citizenship, I called him and I appreciated the opportunities he gave me in WWE. I do not know what they’re telling you. “
On how to grow in business and help McMahon: “That’s not politicking, it’s getting to know each other and letting you know what kind of person is going to invest this huge creation machine, I had moments when I agreed with him and others where I did not.” In doing so, he began to see that I I would defend energetically what I believed, and that I would admit when I did not agree with him, I did not look for a pat on the back when he was right, he also knew how much I cared about that industry. ”
