Sting Says: “I wanted a match with The Undertaker and I would have done everything possible to make it happen”

Sting attended the Wales comic convention of Wrexham last Saturday and participated in a Q&A (question and answer) session, in which he spoke on various topics such as injuries of his neck. What was his plan after a hypothetical return to WWE or a confrontation with Seth Rollins? You can read the session highlights below:

It is reported that you refused to undergo a neck operation that could have helped you to fight one more fight. What can you tell us about it?

“I would like to have one more fight. I’d like to have that match with The Undertaker. The only reason I stopped the surgery was because guys like Stone Cold advised me not to do it. If I have side effects from the injury? I can still exercise without being bothered, nor does my neck hurt while sleeping or anything like that. Why would I have surgery then? If you do not need it, do not do it. ”

If you went back to WWE, what version of your character would you be?

“I can not be Surfer Sting anymore because I do not have enough hair, so probably Crow Sting or Joker Sting.”

What is your favorite version?

“Crow Sting”

If WWE asked you to work on a program with one of the young talents. Who would you choose?

“I would choose Bray Wyatt. I like it. I know he is not young but he has personality. Also, it’s quite old school and I love that. “

How does it feel to be a member of the WWE Hall of Fame?
“Is incredible! I never thought it would happen, so the night that happened was a great night. I’m very proud to be able to call myself Hall of Famer . ”

Many people think that they played you in your fight against Triple H at WrestleMania. Did you really play it?

“No, I have no complaints. It was WrestleMania. You had DX. You had NWO. It was a great moment and I have great memories. There is no complaint on my part. “

Why did not you have a rematch match against Triple H?
“I think we gave it all in the WrestleMania match, so I do not think it was necessary.”

What were the plans for you after your fight against Seth Rollins?
“I do not know. To be honest, I do not think they had plans. I did have my plans. I wanted that fight with Taker and I would have done everything possible to make it happen.”
