A Long Reign for Roman Reigns as Universal Champion?
The path to the Universal title was not easy for Roman Reigns. Recall that “the Big Dog” failed twice against Brock Lesnar before finally capturing the belt at SummerSlam a few days ago.
However, a threat, not least, hangs over the reign of the Shield member. Indeed, he will face Braun Strowman at Hell in a Cell on the night of September 16 to 17 for the title. But does Reigns have reasons to worry?
Not really if we believe Sports Illustrated. The site mentions that the current plan of the WWE is to offer a long reign to the current champion. Of course, you cannot verify this information and keep in mind that everything can change at the last moment.
However, it would indeed be surprising that Vince McMahon decides to lose Roman’s belt not even a month after his coronation.
Other rumors also indicate that Drew McIntyre would be the next challenger for the Universal title once Strowman misses his chance.
