Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas will get a big push after WWE SummerSlam
Last week during the episode of Smackdown Live, WWE Champion AJ Styles faced Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas at the opening of the show. The Mexican had gotten the match thanks to Zelina Vega who had spoken with the “Phenomenal One” sometime before the show started. Although he did not win his match last week, the former NXT champion would have done quite a bit of talk behind the scenes of the company.
In a recent edition of the PWInsider, it was reported that the officials were satisfied with the work provided by Almas as well as his manager, Zelina Vega. The wrestler of the blue show could receive a big push in the coming weeks. He may face either AJ Styles or Samoa Joe after Summerslam. The idea of adding it to the WWE title match would also have been discussed. We’ll know more in the coming weeks by watching Smackdown Live.
Some performances that are certainly notorious since the struggle of Almas with Sin Cara during the Smackdown live on July 10, which garnered praise from all the media, considering that they only had five minutes to show their skills. And a performance that was repeated yesterday, this time with Rusev, having more time.
Will we see it soon to the WWE Championship? Not at the moment, because Samoa Joe is positioned as the next challenger for Styles at SummerSlam and surely Hell in a Cell.
