WWE NXT Preview: April 25, 2018

WWE is broadcasting a new episode of its NXT program tonight. The show will be broadcast on WWE’s official digital platform WWE Network.

-After having resolved his rivalries with Andrade Cien Almas and Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano looks ahead and continues his career in NXT aiming at a single goal: the possibility of finally becoming NXT champion.

Johnny Wrestling challenged the new NXT champion Aleister Black in last week’s episode and “The Dutch Destroyer” did not take long to respond Gargano will get his title shot tonight at NXT.

Johnny Wrestling is the only NXT Superstar to own a victory over Aleister Black after performing over the now NXT champion the count of three during the fast-paced four-way fight last December. Now that his career at NXT has picked up momentum after defeating Ciampa at TakeOver: New Orleans and seeing his wife Candice LeRae beat Almas’s manager Zelina Vega last Wednesday. will Gargano achieve his goal of taking house the crown of NXT?

-For the first time in history, the North American NXT Championship will be defended in the yellow show when the first champion Adam Cole will face Oney Lorcan tonight.

After the incredible performance of Cole in the ladder fight to become the first American NXT champion in TakeOver: New Orleans, “The Panama City Playboy” must now prepare for one of the most dangerous competitors of the yellow mark Oney Lorcan. The Boston wrestler is famous for his fearlessness, often visiting social networks to call anyone he considers a worthy opponent. And, as anyone who has seen him in the ring knows, Lorcan is always eager to fight. Can Lorcan stop Cole just as he begins his reign as champion? Or will Undisputed’s domain continue with a successful defense of Cole?

– For the first time since the shocking events of NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, the four members of the Undisputed ERA will appear on NXT. Now that the group runs the program and boasts of having an excess of gold in their possession, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and their newest member, Roderick Strong, will head to the NXT Universe. Will Strong explain why he attacked his teammate, Pete Dunne, in TakeOver: New Orleans?

-After his last bout was wildly interrupted by War Raiders debutants, Heavy Machinery will once again face the arrogant duo of Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss tonight at NXT. Although they experienced some communication failures in the past, Sabbatelli & Moss seemed to get back on track in their last presentation against Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic. Who will be victorious in this overwhelming rivalry?
