During the recent Monday Night Raw show, Raw supervisor Alexa Bliss invited superstars Sasha Banks and Bayley to a question-and-answer session with the audience. After several questions, The Boss and The Huggable One assured that by the year 2019 they have proposed to be the first women’s tag team champions in WWE.
The segment began with Alexa Bliss asking questions to the fans present around the fighters. After scoffing at the supervisor, both assured that they would be the WWE women’s tag team champions. Following this, they were interrupted by Alicia Fox, Mickie James, and Dana Brooke, who wanted to attack them.
After the moment, Bliss set off a match between Sasha Banks and Bayley against Mickie James and Alicia Fox (with Dana Brooke on the corner). The fight was quickly won by Banks and Bayley, followed by applying a Belly to Belly on James to take the victory for three.
It is recalled that during the course of the year has been speculated on a division in female tag teams in WWE, being rumored to appear in the Evolution event, but the idea was discarded. These declarations of both superstars could affirm the creation of this division, and although still there is no official confirmation of part of the company, this could occur for the next year.
