Big changes for Survivor Series 2018 following the departure of Roman Reigns

Last month, we mentioned that Survivor Series 2018 was not going to see RAW versus Smackdown Live, unlike the previous year. In recent weeks, many plans have been changed especially because of the fact that Roman Reigns can no longer fight … As you know, this departure has had great repercussions and the pay-per-view of November’ was not spared.

According to WrestleVotes, Vince McMahon would have chosen to return to a more classic format for Survivor Series following the announcement of the “Big Dog”. For some unknown reason, the WWE boss did not want Reigns to face AJ Styles during pay-per-view and that’s why the battle between RAW and Smackdown was abandoned. In addition, a confrontation between Team Corbin and Team Kurt Angle would remain to be determined. This match could take place but if nothing is certain at the moment.

Finally, Shawn Michaels had planned one or two more matches after that of Crown Jewel “if everything went well”. With the injury of Triple H, everything could be questioned. A match between Michaels and the Undertaker seemed to be under consideration, but given what happened in Saudi Arabia, it might not happen.

Survivor Series will take place on the night of November 18 to 19, 2018.
