Big Show will Return to the Ring After a Year without Competing
WWE has published in a press release that Big Show will return to the ring to fight this coming Tuesday in a new program of SmackDown Live. Show will face Randy Orton in an individual match corresponding to the qualification phase of the WWE World Cup, a tournament to crown the best superstar of the company that will end up in Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
It will be the first match of Show for a year and is that his last match was on September 4, 2017, in a Monday Night Raw program. The giant was defeated by another giant, Braun Strowman, in a Steel Cage Match. After the match, Strowman threw the Show into a wall of the steel cage, causing Show to disappear from television. This was done because he was going to have a hip operation that would take him about 9 months.
In this time, it has also been rumored about the withdrawal of the fighter and also about the termination of his contract with WWE. Big Show had to step out denying that he wants to retire, on the contrary, he wants to continue fighting for many more years. Before that, he also announced that he had renewed with the company for three more years.
The official website of WWE has also announced the return of Jeff Hardy after several weeks of absence on television. Jeff Hardy will face Samoa Joe in a qualifying match for the WWE World Cup.
