Braun Strowman will face Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell
WWE has confirmed the first cage match for its upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. This week on Monday Night RAW, Braun Strowman announced that he will challenge the universal champion Roman Reigns for his title in no less than a fighting style that gives the show its name.
This week Reigns pronounced himself against Strowman whom he attacked last week along with his colleagues from The Shield after his failed attempt to collect the Money in the Bank briefcase. The champion tried to persuade the monster to face that same night but Strowman ruled out the possibility and said he would use his contract to challenge Reigns in the Hell in a Cell match.
With this match confirmed, both will face for the fourth time in Pay Per View (PPV) events, being also the first with a title in between. Reigns is also heading for his third Hell in a Cell style fight while Strowman will do it for the first time.
For his part, Strowman will be the third person to exchange his Money in the Bank briefcase with prior notice, following in the footsteps of Rob Van Dam and John Cena.
