Charlotte Flair will replace Becky Lynch to face Ronda Rousey at WWE Survivor Series

With Becky Lynch out of action, she has been named a new opponent for Ronda Rousey at the Survivor Series event at WWE. As announced during the latest edition of the SmackDown Live program, Charlotte Flair has been chosen to face the women’s champion of the RAW brand.

During the program in question, the members of the women’s division of the blue brand appeared in the ring together with general manager Paige. The latter explained that after a brain concussion suffered by Lynch, the champion should choose a replacement for his match against Ronda Rousey, which would have been the duel between champions of the company.

The Irish was present before a recognized ovation, which she thanked, and said she regretted not being able to face Ronda Rousey, which she said will be lucky that she will not have her as a rival. Lynch proceeded to pass one by one to the members of SmackDown, finally choosing Flair as who will face Rousey. Despite his latest problems, Lynch said he was confident that Flair will make Rousey perform and wished him success in an emotional embrace with the now reconciled friends.

With the change in the card, a new unprecedented fight is confirmed. The possible combat between Flair and Rousey was a quite desired one within WWE, being even considered like a possible stellar of WrestleMania according to specialized means. Now with the conditions against him, WWE has decided to opt for this confrontation. With the announcement, it is confirmed that Lynch will remain as champion with the date of his return to the ring yet to be determined.
