Daniel Bryan Wants to Leave the WWE
At the beginning of September, the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE had proposed a new contract to Daniel Bryan. The latter accepted the offer of the company with which he re-signed for several years.
As a reminder, the wrestler’s contract had come to an end at Summerslam last month. Rumors had begun to circulate about his desire to leave the federation and return to the independent scene where many companies were waiting for him with open arms.
Daniel Bryan told WWE Hall of Famer Booker T during Heated Conversations podcast, he wanted to leave if he did not have a new contract on the table.
“Yes, this information is totally true. o I had just signed a contract before, uh, I had my last concussion. That was when they put me out, but they hadn’t signed their side of the contract yet. It was from that moment that I became really popular and the officials said they would give me a very big contract.
Well, then they took that away and then. So then it was back on like, so, not only so, and this is how I relate to people who don’t understand the passion that I have for wrestling, like financially too.”
