Daniel Bryan will have a reduced schedule in December
Daniel Bryan will have a reduced calendar in December as far as appearances in WWE shows are concerned. The current WWE champion has not been announced to appear in Starrcade and the night after, in Cincinnati. Neither has it been announced to appear in the house shows that will be held next Sunday and Monday, December 2 and 3, in Arlington and Calgary.
However, Daniel Bryan has been announced for all the SmackDown Live events that will be broadcast in December on the USA Network channel. It has also been added to house shows on December 17 in Stockton, December 27 on Long Island, December 28 in Baltimore, and December 30 in Tampa, Florida. He is expected to return full time in January 2019.
It should be noted that WWE practically will not have the appearance of its two absolute champions in December. As we already know, Brock Lesnar will not make any kind of appearance in Raw or in PPV, and he is not expected to return to the screen until Royal Rumble or in a previous Monday Night Raw show. AJ Styles, who has been absent the last week while negotiating his renewal with WWE, will return to action at Starrcade. AJ Styles will fight against Samoa Joe in most live non-televised events in which Daniel Bryan is absent.
Daniel Bryan managed to win the WWE Championship two weeks ago at the weekly SmackDown Live show. In TLC, the PPV event to be held on December 16 in San Jose, Daniel Bryan will defend the title against AJ Styles.
